This specimen was lot 1210 in Sincona sale 22 (Zürich, May 2015), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$471 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Calenberg-Hannover, Herzogtum, Georg Ludwig (Georg I.), 1698-1727 Taler 1713. Clausthal. Gutes sehr schön-sehr schön. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg-Hannover, George Louis, 1698-1727, thaler of 1713, Clausthal mint, good very fine.)"
This type was issued 1711-13 (confusingly, the SCWC does not list a 1713 issue). Leaping stallion thalers were issued from this locality as late as 1760.
