This specimen was lot 5397 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €700 (about US$916 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND, KAISERREICH, Alexander II. 1855-1881. Ku.-Denezhka 1856, Warschau. In US-Plastikholder der NGC mit der Bewertung MS 65 BN. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast Stempelglanz. (empire of Russia, Alexander II, 1855-81, copper denga of 1856, Warsaw mint. NGC MS-65BN. Rare in this quality, about uncirculated.)"
This denga or half kopek was issued 1855-60 from Ekaterinburg (EM) and Warsaw (BM, shown here). The denomination was reduced to 1.6 g in 1894.
Recorded mintage: 4,278,000.
Specification: 2.56 g, copper, 17.9 mm diameter.
