The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "Nicholas I, 1796-1855, 3 Kopecks 1841, Izhora Mint, CM. Minor planchet defects. Third digit in date double struck due to die error. About uncirculated with remaining red mint lustre." The type was struck 1839-47 at Izhora (shown here), St. Petersburg, Suzun and Ekaterinburg.
