This specimen was lot 957 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $48. The catalog description[1] noted, "SAXONY-ALBERTINE LINE: Friedrich August II, 1733-1763, AR 1/48 thaler, Dresden, 1743, mintmaster FWôF, AU." This denomination was equal to 2½ kreuzer. This style was struck 1734-56 and has a very low catalog value.
