This specimen was lot 25348 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $822.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Nicholas I copper 5 Kopeks 1831 EM-ФX, Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle, with wings down, and date / Value, MS62 Brown NGC. Ex: Falz-Fein Collection. Iridescent surfaces with medium caramel color." This type was struck 1831-39 at Ekaterinburg and Suzun. Mintages are generally large.
