This specimen was lot 34538 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $660. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russia: Nicholas I 10 Kopecks (Grivennik) 1826 CΠБ-HГ MS63 PCGS, St. Petersburg mint, Very scarce in choice condition, this being one of only a handful of examples of this date we have handled." Two types of silver ten kopeks were struck in 1826; C127, wings up, struck 1810-26; and C157, with the eagle's wings down, struck 1826-31. The wings down type is scarcer than the wings up type.

Recorded mintage: 2,049,999 (including C127).

Specification: 2.07 g, 0.868 fine silver.
