Sincona sale 84, lot 263

This specimen was lot 263 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$404 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 10 Kopecks 1824, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB PD. Good extremely fine. Attractively toned."

This type was struck 1810-26 and is fairly common.

Recorded mintage: 1,330,000 including 1824/3.

Specification: 2.07 g, 0.868 fine silver, this specimen 2.05 g.
