This specimen was lot 4135 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €27 (about US$38 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm IV. 1840-1861. Ku.-3 Pfennig 1842, D. Druckstelle, etwas Grünspan, vorzüglich. Erworben im März 1972. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William IV, 1840-61, copper three pfennig of 1842, a little verdigris on the reverse, extremely fine.)"

This type was struck at Berlin 1841-42.
