This specimen was lot 3374 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €420 (about US$585 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/12 Taler 1741, GK, Cleve. Münzmeister Georg Küster. Von großer Seltenheit. Etwas poröser Schrötling, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Berliner Münz-Cabinet 10, Berlin 1979, Nr. 3087. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, one-twelfth thaler of 1741. Extremely rare, slightly porous, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1740-46. This is a rare date. Mintmaster EGN of the Berlin mint also struck this denomination for 1741.
