Künker sale 353, lot 3180

This specimen was lot 3180 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €100 (about US$139 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich (III.) I. 1701-1713. 1/12 Taler 1703, CS, Berlin. Münzmeister Christoph Stricker. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Erworben am 3.11.1972. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick I, 1701-13, one twelfth thaler of 1703, Berlin mint. Very fine to extremely fine.)"

This type was struck at Berlin 1701-13.
