Künker sale 353, lot 3221

This specimen was lot 3221 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €140 (about US$195 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich (III.) I. 1701-1713. Schilling 1702, CG, Königsberg. Prägung für das Herzogtum Preußen. Münzmeister Caspar Geelhaar. Vorzüglich. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick I, 1701-13, schilling of 1702, Königsberg mint, struck for the duchy of Prussia. Extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1701-10 for use in East Prussia and likely the neighboring parts of Poland.
