This specimen was lot 3395 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 20 € (about US$26 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "México. 1986. 25 pesos. AG. Proof." Mexico hosted the FIFA World Cup in 1986 and as a consequence issued an extensive series of commemoratives in copper-nickel, silver and gold.
