This specimen was lot 21234 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $1,410. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 5 Pesos, 1892-MoM. NGC MS-63 PL. VERY RARE date, mintage of only 214 pieces. Sharply struck with mirror fields and deeply impressed devices. Fully brilliant and quite handsome."

Recorded mintage: 214.

Specification: 8.46 g, 0.875 fine gold, .238 troy oz AGW.
