Stack's Bowers October 2021 Collector's Choice sale, lot 71600

This specimen was lot 71600 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. 10 Centavos, 1892-Mo M. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-63. A flashy and fully lustrous coin, with sharp strike and a few patches of light toning." This is a common date of a type struck at Mexico City 1869-97.

Recorded mintage: 1,030,000, the highest mintage date.

Specification: 2.707 g, 0.903 fine silver, 18 mm diameter, .078 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
