This specimen was lot 53151 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $33,600. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 4 Escudos, 1833-Do RM/RL. Durango Mint. NGC AU-58. Already a fairly RARE mint for the denomination, this incredible early survivor presents a crisp, well executed strike, golden-orange allure to the color, and a good deal of luster remaining in the fields. Just the slightest degree of gentle wear prevents a Mint State designation. From the Collection of Jacques Benuzillo (1899-1964)." This is a rare mint for four escudos. The SCWC lists only 1832 altho the photo thereof shows an 1833.
