Mexico 1833-Zs OM real

from the Mountain Groan Collection

This specimen was struck at the Zacatecas mint in 1833. This mint struck silver and gold coins 1812-1905, with one reales known for 1826-62 and 1868-69. This specimen shows the common 1833/2 overdate. The issues of Guanajuato, along with Zacatecas and Mexico City, are generally considered common.
