This specimen was lot 2775 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $107.10. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH INDIA: George V, 1910-1936, 1 anna, 1914(b), lightly toned lustrous fields, NGC graded MS63, ex John Page Collection." This type was struck 1911-20, 1923-30, 1933-36. The denomination was introduced in 1906 and struck until the end of the Raj in 1947.
Recorded mintage: 48,000,000 + proofs, a scarce date.
Specification: 3.80 g, copper-nickel, 21 mm diameter.
