This specimen was lot 55595 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 24 Mariengroschen, 1780-CES. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg III (George III of Great Britain). PCGS AU-50. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1762-84 and is common. Another gulden struck in 1780 (KM 341) featured an arms obverse and value reverse.
