This specimen was lot 55556 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. Taler, 1717-HH. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg I Ludwig (George I of Great Britain). Extremely Fine Details -- Tooled. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection. Includes ticket from Giessener Muenzhandlung Dieter Gorny." This type was struck 1717-27 and is common. It shares the wild man reverse with Dav-2076 but has different arms on the obverse.
