This specimen was lot 962 in Jean Elsen sale 122 (Brussels, September 2014), where it sold for €900 (about US$1,379 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Charles X (1824-1830), AR 2 francs, 1830 T, Nantes. Très Rare. Fines traces d'ajustage. presque Superbe. (kingdom of France, Charles X (1824-30), silver two francs of 1830, Nantes mint. Very rare, minor adjustment marks, about extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1825-30 and most of the seventy known dates are rare. This one from the Nantes mint is scarce but not a key. Le Franc[2] notes a roll of Uncirculated specimens may have been dispersed, as an unusually large number of choice specimens are known to exist.

Recorded mintage: 11,712[2].

Specification: 27 mm diameter, 10 grams, 0.900 fine silver, .289 troy oz ASW.
