The first specimen was lot 4372 in Goldberg sale 41 (Beverly Hills, May 2007), where it sold for $333.50. The catalog description[2] noted, "France. 20 Francs, 1830-A. Charles X. PCGS graded AU-58." This is the most common date for the type, which was issued 1825-30 from four mints.

Specification: 21 mm diameter, 6.45 grams, 0.900 fine gold, edge lettered DOMINE SALVUM FAC REGEM. Designed by August François Michaud, 1786-1879.

Recorded mintage: 436,710[1].
