This specimen was lot 70631 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Groat, ND (ca. 1422-27). London Mint. Henry VI (First Reign) (1422-61). PCGS EF-40 Secure Holder. Annulet issue, pierced cross mintmark. Good strike with nice remaining detail. Toned." This type was struck in London (shown here) and Calais (S-1836) along with a half groat and silver penny. The Calais issue is more available than the London issue.
