This specimen was lot 1598 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "ENGLAND: Henry VI, first reign, 1422-1461, AR penny, ND (1422-30), Calais Mint annulet issue, some ghosting of cross on obverse, plain cross mintmark, NGC graded XF40." This penny was also struck at London and York; they vary by the position of the annulets. Four pence made a groat, the largest silver denomination.
