This type was struck for Cuba 1990, 1992 and 1995. This unusual denomination seems to be unique to Cuba, which also issued three pesos in paper. This date is known also in copper-nickel (KM 346).
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
Specification: 8 g, nickel plated steel, 26.5 mm diameter, plain edge.
