This specimen was lot 1846 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 38 (Winter Park, FL, November 2025), where it sold for $84. The catalog description[1] noted, "CUBA, Havana mint, proof 5 pesos, 1988, 40th Anniversary of the Cuban National Ballet, NGC PF 68 Ultra Cameo, ex-Busto. Mintage of just 2,000 coins. Well-struck frosted design with watery proof fields, a nice Gem example. Pedigreed to the José O. Busto Collection." This NCLT features a portrait of ballerina and company director Alicia Alonso (1920-2019) facing right.
