This specimen was lot 37341 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Cornw[a]ll. Penryn. 1/2 Penny token, 1794. PCGS MS-65 Brown. Plain edge. Ex: Peh Family Collection." This issue seems to refer to a local volunteer militia.
