This specimen was lot 44709 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Lancashire. Lancaster. White Medal Penny Token, 1794. PCGS AU-55. D&H-3. From the Sydney F. Martin Collection." This is one of the earlier Conder tokens, whose issue peaked a few years later. White metal is the appellation for a variety of alloys of copper, lead, zinc, bismuth and antimony used in jewelry to mimic silver.
