This specimen was lot 73890 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Somersetshire. Bath. Gye's Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1794. PCGS MS-63 Brown. Obverse: Crowned civic coat-of-arms of Bath, with lion and bear as supporters; Reverse: Female figure seated left, holding branch and instructing boy with prison key to unlock door."
