This specimen was lot 75372 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Somersetshire. Bridgewater. Gilt Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1794. PCGS PROOF-62. cf. D&H-86 (in copper). John Holloway, draper. Obverse: Facade of shop; Reverse: Arms of Bridgewater. A delightful Conder Token that easily captures attention due to its gilt proof flashiness. From the Richard Margolis Collection."
