This specimen was lot 75363 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Cornwall. County. Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1791. PCGS MS-65 Brown. Plain edge. Obverse: Draped head of Druid left; wreath around; Reverse: Coat of arms. From the Richard Margolis Collection." This token was struck at the Soho mint using dies inspired by the North Wales tokens. It was heavier than the average token but not enough to pass for a penny.
