Sincona sale 76, lot 1392

This specimen was lot 1392 in Sincona sale 76 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 11,000 CHF (about US$13,352 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Matthias, (1608-)1612-1619. 1/4 Taler 1612, Joachimsthal. Münzmeister Centurio Lengefelder. Von grösster Seltenheit, vermutlich das zweite bekannte Exemplar. Gutes vorzüglich. NGC AU53. Feine Patina. (Holy Roman Empire, Matthias, 1612-19, quarter thaler of 1612, Joachimsthal mint. Of the highest rarity, probably one of only two known pieces. Good extremely fine, Nicely toned.)"

The SCWC mentions two quarter thalers for 1612, this one with the date divided by the arms, and KM 115, with the date in the reverse legend.
