This specimen was lot 53603 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Holy Roman Empire. Taler, 1612. Hall Mint. Rudolph II. NGC VF-25. From the Augustana Collection." This type was struck 1611-12. It is fairly expensive altho this example realized only one fourth of the catalog value. Hall minted many thalers for various archdukes and those are fairly common.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver.
