Künker Auction 441, lot 4700

This specimen was lot 4700 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,600 (about US$2,201 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Rudolf II., 1576-1612. Reichstaler 1612, Hall. Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, thaler of 1612, Hall mint. Handsome patina, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

Austrian thalers for 1612 include KM 130/Dav-3040 (Vienna), KM 144/Dav-3041, KM 24/Dav-3314, KM 37.2/Dav-3005B (Hall), KM 37.4/Dav-3005C (Hall), KM 126.2/Dav-3009 (Hall), KM 143/Dav-3010 (shown here), KM 26/Dav-3028 (Kuttenberg), KM 93/Dav-3022 (Kuttenberg), Dav-3035 (Ensisheim), KM 101/Dav-3058 (Prague) and KM 123/Dav-3064 (Prague). This one was struck 1612 only.
