This specimen was lot 3870 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €2,600 (about US$3,412 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Leopold II. 1790-1792. Dukat 1790, A, Wien. GOLD. R Vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Leopold II, 1790-92, ducat of 1790, Vienna mint. Rare, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1790-92 at five mints and far outnumbers the rare Fr-446 with the shield reverse.
