Künker sale 335, lot 4660

This specimen was lot 4660 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €1,400 (about US$1,832 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH. Ferdinand II. 1592-1618-1637. Reichstaler 1625, St. Pölten. Von großer Seltenheit. Sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, thaler of 1625, St. Pölten mint. Very rare, very fine.)"

This thaler from the St. Pölten is very scarce. Other thaler from this mint include Dav-3092, Dav-3093, -3095, -3096.
