This specimen was lot 4967 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$161 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND St. Gallen. Batzen 1621, St. Gallen. Bär zwischen dem Wert, die Jahreszahl im Abschnitt. Gutes sehr schön (canton of St. Gall, batzen of 1621, St. Gall mint. Obverse: a bear divides the value, date in exergue. Good very fine)." Another, scarcer, batzen of 1621 (KM 66) has the value below. This one is rare above Very Fine. The "4" on the reverse indicates the value, four kreuzer.
