Sincona auction 98, lot 4484

This specimen was lot 4484 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$508 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ St. Gallen, Stadt und Kanton, Halbdickenklippe 1622, St. Gallen. Gutes sehr schön. Leicht justiert. (Switzerland, St. Gall, Good Very Fine, Minor adjustment marks.)"

Altho an earlier type is listed in the SCWC as KM 53 (struck 1618-19), this type (KM 56, struck in round format 1619-24, and KM 58, struck in klippe format 1620-22) is listed as a three batzen.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 4.05 g, silver, 26 mm diameter, this specimen 3.32 g.
