This specimen was lot 75620 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $390.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. St. Gallen. Taler, 1621. St. Gallen Mint. PCGS VF-35. From the Greyhound Collection." Thalers for St. Gall are few and far between; this issue of 1620-24 is the only one that is affordable. This design was also used for a klippe (Dav-4677A).
