The first specimen was lot 4481 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 1,300 CHF (about US$1,886 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ St. Gallen, Stadt und Kanton, Halbdickenklippe 1621, St. Gallen. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich-fast FDC. Herrliche Patina. Minimal justiert. (Switzerland, St. Gall, Rare in this condition, About Mint State, Most attractively toned. Minor adjustment marks.)"

This specimen was lot 5490 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$377 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[2] noted,

"SCHWEIZ. St. Gallen. Stadt und Kanton. Halbdickenklippe 1621, St. Gallen. Fast vorzüglich. Exemplar der Slg. Zuberbühler, Auktion SINCONA 16, Zürich, Oktober 2013, aus Los 6030. (Switzerland, [[Switzerland, canton of St. Gall, klippe half dicken of 1621, St. Gall mint. About Extremely Fine.)"

Altho an earlier type is listed in the SCWC as KM 53 (struck 1618-19), this type (KM 56, struck in round format 1619-24, and KM 58, struck in klippe format 1620-22) is listed as a three batzen.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 4.05 g, silver, 26 mm diameter, the first specimen 4.22 g, the second specimen 4.27 g.
