This specimen was lot 180 in Aureo y Calicó sale 448 (Barcelona, March 2025), where it sold for 650 € (about US$849 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "1608/14. Felipe III. Segovia. AR/C. 2 reales. Obv.: PHILIPPVS·III·D·G. Rev.: HISPANIARVM·REX·1614·. Lovely patina. Rare, especially in this condition. EBC- [about extremely fine]." This type was struck at Segovia 1608, 1611, 1614 and 1620-21. This overdate is not mentioned in the SCWC. It is inexpensive in low grade but very scarce in nice condition.
