Overstruck on 5 Kopecks. 2 roubles according to Petrov. Good very fine. Traces of overstrike." This type was struck in Moscow 1766-68 and 1788-89 for circulation in Russia, not Siberia. It is full weight. Many survive today but few in choice condition.

This specimen was lot 306 in Sincona sale 78 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 60 CHF (about US$72 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Catherine II. 1762-1796, 5 Kopecks 1766, Red Mint, MM. Overstruck on 5 Kopecks. 2 roubles according to Petrov.
