This specimen was lot 1614 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it sold for 1,800 CHF (about US$2,743 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Dukat 1739, Zürich. Selten. Vorzüglich. Kleiner Schrötlingsfehler. (Switzerland, city of Zürich, ducat of 1739, Zürich mint. Rare, Extremely Fine, Minor flan flaw.)"
This type was struck 1718-67 along with a quarter (Fr-488a), half (Fr-487a) and double ducat (Fr-485a).
