This specimen was lot 75039 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Travancore. 2 Chuckrams, ND (1906-28). Rama Varma VI (Under Edward VII as Emperor). NGC MS-64. A wonderful little silver minor in near-Gem quality. Slight smoky tone and quite lustrous." Travancore was a princely state on the SW tip of India adjacent to the Madras presidency. Twenty-eight chuckrams made a rupee.
