This specimen was lot 75040 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Travancore. Cash, ND (1901-10). Rama Varma VI (Under Edward VII as Emperor). NGC MS-65+ Red. A gleaming fiery red example of this diminutive issue." Travancore was a princely state on the SW tip of India adjacent to the Madras presidency. One rupee equaled 448 cash. Later cash of Chithira Thirunal Bala Rama Varma II (KM 57) were only 0.48 g.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 0.65 g, copper, 10.8 mm diameter.
