This specimen was lot 2353 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $99.87. The catalog description[1] noted, "TRAVANCORE: Rama Varma VII, 1885-1924, AE 4 cash, ND. Also struck posthumously, until 1935, NGC graded MS66 RD." This type is common in all grades and was probably equal to a twelfth anna.

Recorded mintage: unknown plus proofs.
