This specimen was lot 56423 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Travancore. 8 Cash, ND (1901-10). Birmingham (Heaton) Mint. Rama Varma VI (Under Edward VII as Emperor). PCGS MS-64 Red Brown." This type is common in all grades and was probably equal to a sixth anna.
