This specimen was lot 2354 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $188. The catalog description[1] noted, "TRAVANCORE: Rama Varma VI, 1885-1924, AR fanam, ME1087 (1911-12). Lovely iridescent toning, superb example, NGC graded MS65." This type, issued ME 1087 and ME1096-1106 by the Heaton mint, is common in all grades and was probably equal to two annas. The later dates are posthumous.
