This specimen was lot 38625 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Travancore. Fanam, ME 1100 (1925). Rama Varma VI. PCGS MS-64." This type was struck years 1087, 1096, 1099-1100, 1103 and 1106 at the Heaton mint for the maharajah. One rupee was about seven fanams. Rama Varna VI died in 1924, making this a posthumous issue.
Recorded mintage: 700,000.
Specification: 1.5 g, 0.950 fine silver, 15.76 mm diameter.
