This specimen was lot 4226 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$422 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"10 Rappen 1850 BB, Strassburg. PCGS MS65PL. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Swiss confederation, ten rappen of 1850, Strasbourg mint. Magnificent condition.)"
This is a rare date of a type issued 1850-51, 1871-76. The type is not rare but is seldom seen compared to the copper-nickel Helvetia type (KM 27) issued 1878-1980.
Recorded mintage: 174,000.
