This specimen was lot 33917 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $420. The catalog description[1] noted, "German States: Saxony. Johann Georg I 1/4 Taler 1628-HI MS62 PCGS, Dresden mint, A sharp selection displaying a lovely cabinet patina, the legends needle-sharp and providing a bold visual frame to the central features." This type was struck 1626-56 and should be more common than it is.
